The Columbus East Soccer Association (CESA) is a not-for-profit, 501C(3) organization that was established in 1984 to serve communities on the east and southeast side of Columbus; including Berwick, Bexley, Columbus, Eastmoor, Groveport, Reynoldsburg, and Whitehall. With our move to the Value City Furniture Fields at Easton in September, 2000; we now also serve communities in North and Northeast Columbus, Blacklick, Gahanna, New Albany, and Westerville. The League offers programs for players age 4 through high school. All games are played at the Value City Furniture Fields at Easton.
CESA is an independent association founded on the basic principle that the game should be FUN, SAFE, and DEVELOPMENTAL in nature. We constantly strive to provide our members a family-friendly environment in which everyone (players, parents, coaches and officials) can learn the game and develop a life-long appreciation for it.

Thank You Coaches!
The heart and soul of the League. Bless them all. Without the sacrifice of their time and efforts, where would we be? Better yet, where would our kids be? Probably on the couch, and we surely don’t want that. Next time you see a coach, give em a hug…and a helping hand. Don’t know the game? It’s a great way to learn. Don’t have time during the week? Help out at the games. Work odd hours? Pitch in with the administrative stuff: organizing, phone calling, etc. It really can be a rewarding experience. Without all of these tasks getting done, there would be no league!
Referee Licensing Clinic
CESA has scheduled to host a referee certification clinic for those interested in becoming certified USSF Referees. The clinic will be conducted by the Columbus Area Soccer Officials Association (CASOA). Dates and times are outlined below. We would like to ENCOURAGE MORE ADULTS to attend the clinic. Registration Fees are $40. Checks should be made payable to “OSSRC” .

2007-2008 Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees are responsible for establishing League Policy and overseeing the operation of the League. If you have any suggestions or comments please share them with the Trustees. Trustees for the current soccer year are as follows:

League Sponsor Programs
Without the support of sponsors, the League would not be able to sustain the quality and quantity of programs we offer, nor maintain what is arguably the best facility in Central Ohio. We are most grateful to all of our sponsors for their generous support. We hope that all League members will continue to remember them and support them in return. Perhaps you, or someone you know, would like to lend their support as well. Please let us know!
Field Sponsorship
Opportunities exist for new Field Sponsors. It is a great way for public and private organizations to demonstrate their community commitment and greatly increase their name recognition throughout Central Ohio. Literally, hundreds of thousands of people pass by and through the complex each year. If you, or someone you know , would like to find out more about these opportunities; please let us know. We would love to sit down and discuss the many advantages of this program.
Division Sponsorships
This sponsorship basically covers the cost of the team jerseys for an ENTIRE DIVISION! (Under 8 division, Under 10 Division, etc.) The sponsor’s name is printed on the jerseys of all of the players in that division . An Individual team picture of each team in the division is also provided at the end of the year.
Team Sponsorships
This sponsorship basically covers the cost of the team jerseys, The sponsor’s name is printed on the jersey and a team picture is provided at the end of the year. Multiple team discounts are also available. The Board of Trustees is encouraging league members to get actively involved in this program. Frankly, it’s hard to imagine that there isn’t at least one good sponsorship candidate for every team in the League - either a parent, or an employer, or an entrepreneur, or whatever. If we all get involved we could easily re-establish this program as a major revenue source for the League.
