CESA - Classics Eagles Alliance
Announced
Beginning in the Fall, 2012, the Columbus East Soccer Association (CESA), in addition to its ongoing Recreational Soccer
Programs, will offer a premier-level soccer experience as a new partner in the Classics Eagles Alliance. Both CESA and Classics Eagles recognize the benefits of recreational soccer for many
children in communities throughout Columbus; including Bexley, Lewis Center, Olentangy, and Westerville. For those youth players demonstrating the talent, commitment and interest to pursue soccer
at an advanced level, the Classics Eagles Alliance will provide an excellent opportunity.
Through this partnership, CESA will serve its Members by providing player, team and coaching development opportunities at
all levels in U9-U12 age groups. The Classics Eagles Easton U9-U12 teams will play games at the Easton fields. At the U13-U18 age groups, the Easton community based teams will join the Classics
Eagles Alliance partners (the Westerville and Olentangy communities) to unite players so they may experience the best in coaching/training, culture and competition, and maximize their potential on
the field.
The Columbus East Soccer Association (CESA) is a not-for-profit, 501C(3) organization established in 1984 to
serve communities in the East, Southeast , North and Northeast areas of the city. CESA is a member of Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA), an affiliated member of the United States Soccer
Federation (USSF), the principal governing body of soccer in America.
The Association is founded on the basic principle that the game should be fun, safe and developmental in nature. CESA
constantly strives to provide a family-friendly environment for its members, in which everyone (players, parents, coaches and officials) can learn the game and develop a life-long appreciation for
it.
The League offers programs for players age 4 through high school. All
games are played at The Fields at Easton, a 45 acre complex that is part of the Easton Town Center Development area, near the intersection of Morse and Sunbury Roads.

The heart and soul of the League. Without the sacrifice of their time and efforts, where would we be? Better yet, where would our kids be? Probably on the couch, and we surely don't want that. Next time you see a coach, give em a hug…and a helping hand. Don't know the game? It's a great way to learn. Don't have time during the week? Help out at the games. Work odd hours? Pitch in with the administrative stuff: organizing, phone calling, etc. It really can be a rewarding experience. Without all of these tasks getting done, there would be no league!
